Many people have reported a major bolide sighting over Northern Scotland during the evening of Mon 29-Feb-2016.
The fireball appears to be an unknown/undetected meteor/meteorite, turned night in to day for a few seconds and produced one or more sonic booms in the atmosphere.
Jenni Morrison was driving home from work on the A944 from Westhill to Alford at 6.45pm when she spotted the fireball light up the sky.
She told Sky News: "I thought what the hell was that! My son said it was a meteorite. It was like a light switch going on and off.”
"I knew it wasn't lightning and it was kind-of scary and amazing at the same time."
There are several dashcam and security camera recordings of the event.
As we're told, it's very unlikely that anyone saw it though it was likely picked up by military sensors across the world.
NASA and other space experts were, once again, blindsided by it ... or this is never happened.

NASA reports huge explosion of seven meter space rock over the Atlantic.
A huge fireball crashed into the Atlantic earlier this month - and went almost unseen.
The event took place on February 6 at 14 00 UTC when a meteor exploded in the air 620 miles (1,000km) off the coast of Brazil.
According to NASA's Near-Earth Object Fireball page, this fireball was the biggest to impact the planet since the Chelyabinsk fireball that had 500,000 tons of TNT energy a few years ago.
In only days, one asteroid will do an Earth-flyby on March 8th. We're told 2013 TX68 poses no threat to the planet but could still get very close to Earth according to NASA. The 150 foot wide asteroid will fly to the Earth possibly as close as 11,000 miles (17,000km).
While a NASA spokesperson tell us: There is no existing evidence that an asteroid or any other celestial object is on a trajectory that will impact Earth and in fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century.
We'll mention he forgot to add this disclaimer: At least not one that we are aware of and can clearly see coming at this time.
How many more are they missing?
NASA is currently tracking 1,600+ 'potentially hazardous asteroids' and it has only been 'blind luck' that has so far saved humanity from serious impact. Former astronaut Ed Lu has described the situation that our planet in now facing as "cosmic roulette" - how long before humanity's luck runs out?
The latest fireball report comes from Spain.
The meteor recording stations that the University of Huelva operates at the astronomical observatories located at La Hita (Toledo), Sevilla and Huelva recorded a fireball observed over the South of Spain and Portugal on February 21, 2016 and a second fireball which was brighter than the full Moon and exhibited several explosions over Spain on February 23, 2016.
Another fireball sighting, this time the witness, while driving at the right moment on 183 Westbound in the Euless area, captured with his dashcam a close meteor flying over Texas on February 18, 2016.
The increase in fireballs is really disturbing as fireballs sightings are now reported almost daily throughout the world and with this new sighting over Texas, yet the report of the Fireball over southern France yesterday, one has to wonder what is really happening.
What is causing this phenomenon? Is a debris field moving in our direction?
Besides the exceptional increase in fireballs, March turns out to be the month of great celestial events in 2016.
On March 21 the comet 252P/LINEAR 12 will make its closest approach yet, passing just 3.1 million miles (5.3 million km).
Comet P/2016 BA14 (PANSTARRS) is set to pass by Earth at a distance of 2.1 million miles (3.5 million km).This is a record-breaking approach to Earth for a comet!
Comet's P/2016 BA14 (PANSTARRS) passage will be the closest known comet flyby of the last 230 hundred years. Comet P/2016 BA14 (PANSTARRS) was discovered by the Pan-STARRS survey on 2016 Jan 22.
Supermoon and Total Eclipse of the Sun:
The moon turns new on March 8 or 9, 2016, depending on your time zone, the so-called Supermoon will line up with the sun to create a larger-than-average effect on Earth’s oceans.
The first Supermoon of 2016 coincides with the first eclipse of the year, a total eclipse of the sun on March 8-9, 2016.
The total solar eclipse will be visible from Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi and from locations in the Pacific ocean.
On March 8th a space rock is set to pass extremely close to our planet for comfort. Asteroid TX68 may skim past Earth's surface at just 19000 miles (30000 km).The asteroid is approximately twice as large as the Chelyabinsk meteor.

NASA confirms Asteroid's (TX68) Trajectory is 'Highly Uncertain'.
Astronomers say the asteroid 2013 TX68 may pass by Earth on March 8 at 00:06 UTC (March 7 at 7:06 pm ET), the time uncertainty is 2 days, which means the space rock may be passing by our planet sometime between the evenings of March 5 and 9.
Latest estimates say the asteroid will pass no closer than 19,000 miles (30,000 km). Even if it passes in this distance the flyby would still be even closer than orbiting communication satellites.
Meanwhile NASA has changed its condition from code 7 to Code 8 (highly uncertain).
Condition code is defined as, “orbit uncertainty estimate 0-9, with 0 being good, and 9 being highly uncertain”.

On Saturday night, at around 10:08 pm on Saturday 6th February, 2016, hundreds of Danes witnessed a spectacular phenomenon as the sky suddenly lit up and a loud bang from an explosion echoed across northeastern Zealand, reports DR.
According to Johan Fynbo, a professor of astronomy at the Niels Bohr Institute, everything indicates a meteorite hit Denmark at about 10 pm.
“It must have been a relatively large meteorite. Not the size of a car, but perhaps the size of a handball,” Fynbo told DR.
Among the eye-witnesses were Mikkel Pedersen from Roskilde.
“We were driving home from Hillerød to Roskilde, when at 10 pm we were just outside Slangerup and a strong light suddenly lit up the sky and a huge fireball with a long tail flew right above our car, it was a totally wild experience. The whole sky and our car were lit up for several seconds.” He told DR.
Another witness, Camilla Hansen from Køge, wrote: “We could see and hear it also in Køge, several people I know saw flashes of light and I heard a big bang. The lights in my window shook and it was scary. I thought it was an earthquake.”
It’s amazing that except local news sites, here, here and here, the most of the mainstream news media ignore this event which is almost similar to the Chelyabinsk meteor in Russia giving the fact that many kilos of the space rock have been found on the outskirts of Copenhagen.
Despite there are no recordings of the actual meteor so far, several surveillance cameras caught the bright flash of the exploding meteor.
One person was killed and three others were injured when an object believed to a meteorite fell on the campus of a private engineering college near Natrampalli in Vellore district in northern Tamil Nadu early on February 6, 2016.
A loud blast was heard near a water tank shortly after midnight on the Bharathidasan Engineering College premises in K.Bandarappalli village. Kamaraj, a college employee, who had gone to drink water suffered serious injuries and was declared dead when taken to the Vaniyambadi Government Hospital. Three others suffered minor injuries. a top police official told The Hindu.
Window panes and wind screens of buses parked nearby and the water tank were broken in the impact of the blast. A crater was formed at the site of blast.
After a similar blast was reported in a paddy field at Alangayam in the same district on January 26, a senior Astrophysicist of the National Physical Laboratory, Ahmedabad, came to the district for a study. In the earlier incident, local people remember having seen an object falling from the sky in the field,” the official said.
The flyby of asteroid 2013 TX68 is the closest ever predicted Earth approach for an object this large. The 150 feet (45 meters) rock could pass 11,000 miles (17,000km) from Earth on March 5th which is 21 times closer to our planet than the moon, although NASA admits it might also pass nine million miles away as the asteroid’s orbit is highly uncertain (condition code 7) and the distance of its pass is not precisely known at this time experts say.
However, if the asteroid passes at its closest possible distance of just 11,000 miles (17,000 km), the flyby will be an exceedingly close one and If that were the case, the asteroid would come even closer than orbiting communications satellites.
Asteroid 2013 TX68 has an estimated mass of about 130,000 metric tons. The space rock is traveling at about 32,211 miles per hour (51,839 kilometers per hour), relative to Earth.
According to NASA, if an asteroid of a size similar to that of 2013 TX68 were to impact Earth, it would release approximately 2.5 megatons of energy in the atmosphere and would be expected to cause regional devastation.
A comparison to the impact potential of an asteroid the size of 2013 TX68 could be made to the impact of a near-Earth object that occurred in 1908 in Tuguska, Siberia.
Known in the asteroid community as the "Tunguska Event," this impact of an asteroid just slightly smaller than 2013 TX68 (approximately 100 – 130 feet/30-40 meters across) is believed to have flattened about 825 square miles (2200 square kilometers) of forest in and around the Podkamennaya Tunguska River in what is now Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia.
The asteroid was discovered by the NASA-funded Catalina Sky Survey on Oct. 6, 2013, as it approached Earth on the nighttime side. After three days of tracking, the asteroid passed into the daytime sky and could no longer be observed. Because it was not tracked for very long,
Although scientists cannot predict its precise orbit around the sun, they say that it cannot impact Earth during its flyby next month.
Furthermore, it seems cosmic rays are rising rapidly and the Earth is tilting North, which is a physical Pole Shift combined with a magnetic polar shift. In an article published in 2015, NASA's Near-Earth Object Observations Program says there have been no asteroids or comets observed that would impact Earth anytime in the foreseeable future.
All known potentially hazardous asteroids have less than a 0.01% chance of impacting Earth in the next 100 years. In fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century.
A statement that contradicts itself as NASA jump-started their new project called Planetary Defense Coordination Office, announced by NASA in January 2016.
Planetary defense is the term used to encompass all the capabilities needed to detect the possibility and warn of potential asteroid or comet impacts with Earth, and then either prevent them or mitigate their possible effects.
Even the recently passed federal budget for fiscal year 2016 includes $50 million for NEO observations and planetary defense, representing a more than ten-fold increase since the beginning of the current administration.
Why set up this new office and increase the budget if there is no threat to humans from an asteroid impact the next one hundred years?
Despite NASA has been engaged in worldwide planning for planetary defense for some time we may wonder why this happens all now.
What is also striking is that this new Planetary Defense Coordination Office has received very little attention in the mainstream media, not really an announcement as we're used from NASA.
Even more disturbing is the fact that the agency is committed to perform a leadership role in national and international efforts for detection of these natural impact hazards, and to be engaged in planning if there is a need for planetary defense.
Moreover, the office also will continue to assist with coordination across the U.S. government, participating in the planning for response to an actual impact threat, working in conjunction with FEMA, the Department of Defense, other U.S. agencies and international counterparts.
According Niburu.co the answer to all these developments is the approach of a mini-solar system. Besides the new NASA department is also very useful to keep things in mind such as the arrival of Nibiru and her companions which will bring asteroids and meteors.
The fact that this NASA department is named in one breath with FEMA means that there is more going on than just the theoretical possibility of an asteroid impact.
Meanwhile, fireballs keep coming. The last fireball was filmed by cameras placed at the University of Madison, Wisconsin on February 1, 2016.
Airplane pilot Mike Grossman, while flying 1500FT over the Hudson River, captures a very rare sight from a GoPro external wing camera of his Piper Archer descending into a New Jersey airport on January 30, 2016 at 6.16pm EST.
A bright, very low flying fireball penetrated earth's atmosphere just to the right of his airplane!
Also, Alexander Salvador of Church Falls, Virginia recorded the luminous bolide at the exact same time 6:16pm EST from a few hundred miles away on the ground with his dash cam!
This was a Major Event as hundreds of reports were sent in to both of the main meteor sighting hubs, LunarMeteoriteHunters and American Meteor Society.
The fireball was witnessed in at least 12 different states and 2 countries!

There is undoubtedly something very strange going on in the skies. This time the sky in Russia's Far East was lit up by a strange object on January 17, 2016.
It flew over the city of Blagoveschensk leaving behind a long trail of white light, which reportedly hung in the sky for the next two hours before it exploded in a bright flash.
A strange looking cloud appeared in the sky after the object exploded, while witnesses claim they heard a thunderclap-like sound only eight minutes later.
So far there has been no official information about the celestial phenomena.
The past few days, strange sounds and mysterious booms were heard by people from different parts of the world.
While most people are unaware of this phenomenon, the noises occur around people all the time.
People throughout the world hear more and more the mysterious trumpet sounds coming from unknown locations and the mysterious booms that shake houses and it is going away.

During this weekend, mysterious booms were reported in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, California, Nebraska and New Jersey.
And Sunday night many residents of Agadir, Casablanca and Tangier in Morocco were startled by a strange noise. Many considered it as a "bad sign". Some think that they were aliens, others the sign of a major disaster or an attack.
Nobody can explain the trumpet-like sounds and the strange booms and no one can say where it comes from. But scientist assume, it could have something to do with a geophysical phenomenon or an ultrasonic sound, while some researchers say it has to do with man-made secret space weapons and ground based stations like HAARP.
Despite the plausible explanation that the strange sounds and booms are caused due to geophysical processes, we cannot deny that secret geophysical space weapons are used to manipulate the on-going process inside the Earth and manipulate the frequencies of the electromagnetic protective layer around the earth resulting in more (man-made) earthquakes, volcano eruptions, etc.
In addition, there are disturbing reports about a significant increase in fireballs and meteors.
The pattern is congruent: from 2010 onwards, the frequency of fireballs has been increasing each year in an exponential fashion.
Comparing 2014 to 2013, the frequency of fireballs increased by 120%. Comparing 2015 to 2014, fireballs increased by 20%. That is a significant increase, and it should be generating a lot of attention. If it is, then it's being done very quietly behind closed doors.
So what’s up in space that the earth groans and grumbles, yet the dramatically increase in fireballs and meteors. It appears that one of a couple of things is happening:
The solar system is moving into an area of space where it is encountering a higher density of rocks/asteroids, along with the debris trails of some comets.
Or Nemesis is approaching the inner solar system and perturbing comets/asteroids from the Kuiper Belt and/or the Oort Cloud.
The two scenarios are not mutually exclusive: the first scenario could also be triggered by the second.
The 'Nemesis' hypothesis proposes that the Sun has a companion star - a brown or red dwarf - in a highly elliptical orbit that periodically disturbs comets/asteroids in the Oort Cloud, causing a large increase in the number of comets visiting the inner solar system, and a consequential increase in impact events on Earth as well as it has a dramatically effect on the on-going processes inside the earth.
Finally, we may assume that governments and some organizations know about it, but they are silent, on the other hand, they worsen the situation by using Earth directed space weapons and Haarp-like facilities which result into more un-natural weather events and disasters.
The giant comets, termed centaurs, move on unstable orbits crossing the paths of the massive outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. The planetary gravitational fields can occasionally deflect these objects in towards the Earth.
Centaurs are typically 50 to 100 kilometers across, or larger, and a single such body contains more mass than the entire population of Earth-crossing asteroids found to date. Calculations of the rate at which centaurs enter the inner solar system indicate that one will be deflected onto a path crossing the Earth’s orbit about once every 40,000 to 100,000 years. Whilst in near-Earth space they are expected to disintegrate into dust and larger fragments, flooding the inner solar system with cometary debris and making impacts on our planet inevitable.
Known severe upsets of the terrestrial environment and interruptions in the progress of ancient civilizations, together with our growing knowledge of interplanetary matter in near-Earth space, indicate the arrival of a centaur around 30,000 years ago. This giant comet would have strewn the inner planetary system with debris ranging in size from dust all the way up to lumps several kilometers across.
A decade ago, Stephen Hawking observed that one of the major factors in the possible scarcity of intelligent life in our galaxy is the high probability of an asteroid or comet colliding with inhabited planets. This week, a team of astronomers from Armagh Observatory and the University of Buckingham reported that the discovery of hundreds of giant comets in the outer planetary system over the last two decades means that these objects pose a much greater hazard to life than asteroids.
The team, made up of Professors Bill Napier and Duncan Steel of the University of Buckingham, Professor Mark Bailey of Armagh Observatory, and Dr David Asher, also at Armagh, publish their review of recent research in the December issue of Astronomy & Geophysics (AandG), the journal of the Royal Astronomical Society.
Because they are so distant from the Earth, Centaurs appear as pinpricks of light in even the largest telescopes. Saturn's 200-km moon Phoebe, seems likely to be a Centaur that was captured by that planet's gravity at some time in the past.
Indeed, there is a lot going on above our heads at the moment.

Huge Comet Making a Headlong Plunge in the Solar Corona.
On December 9, 2015, a huge comet disintegrated in the Solar Corona as seen by the SOHO solar spacecraft. Some reports describe this comet as 10 up to 50 meters small fragment. This is not just 50 meters in size but a very big comet that we were not aware that existed in our neighborhood. In the video you can clearly see this large space visitor making a headlong plunge in the solar corona. This comet must be over 500 m in size.
Mega asteroid so BIG 'it could trigger earthquakes and volcanoes on Earth is set to skim past us on Christmas Eve.
The 1.5-miles wide mega space rock known as 2003 SD220 is on a NASA list of "high priority" asteroids for close observation because of the potential threat to the planet.
A smaller group of six, also including 2003 SD220, are also considered potentially hazardous to Earth due to their sizes and orbits.
A team made up of NASA and staff from the Arecibo observatory in Peurto Rico are preparing to carry out specialist radar observations of 2003 SD220 as it nears us from mid December. Christmas full moon to arrive for 1st time since 1977.
This year, when you look up at the sky on Christmas morning, you'll get a Christmas treat that no one has had since the year the original Star Wars movie was released — a full moon. The next Christmas full moon is isn't expected until 3:54 a.m. ET in 2034, according to the U.S. Navy Astronomical Applications Department's moon phases predictor. Read More.
Comet Catalina on Christmas too.
Not only will there be a full moon to enjoy, there will be a comet visible with binoculars. Comet Catalina will be visible in the early morning hours in the eastern sky.
If you have a strong enough telescope you may get to see "two tails." Brian Ottum, owner of a telescope in New Mexico, says comet Catalina has two tails. One tail is from the sun blasting the vapor back and the other tail from dust trailing behind the comet's movement. Read More.
Geminid Meteor shower.
The Geminid meteor shower will be in full swing the nights of Dec. 13 and Dec. 14, and experts are saying it's going to be the best meteor shower of 2015. Earth is entering a stream of gravelly debris from "rock comet" 3200 Phaethon, source of annual Geminid meteor shower.
Forecasters expect peak rates to occur on Dec. 13-14, when dark-sky observers in both hemispheres could see as many as 120 meteors per hour. Observing conditions will be nearly ideal because the shower peaks just a few days after the New Moon. Read More.

Astronomers using data from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) a powerful telescope located in the high desert of Chile have found a distant object in the direction of Alpha Centauri. The object appears to be in the outer region of our solar system.
Whether dwarf planet, super-Earth, a small star or even Planet X, it seems clear that something is lurking on the outer edge of our solar system.

OK, so far the news on celestial bodies, astronomical objects.
But what about the advanced extraterrestrial civilizations in our galaxy?
Well, according to Bulgaria-born Baba Vanga, was born Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, who died in 1996 aged 85 and known as “Nostradamus from the Balkans” thanks to a purported 85 percent success rate, predicted that in 2130 with the help of the aliens, civilisations will live underwater.
Baba Vanga led an ordinary life up until the age of 12, when she mysteriously lost her eyesight during a massive storm. She was flung into the air and then dashed to the ground by a powerful gust of wind. Vanga later stated that she had experienced her first vision during the days she was missing and believed she had been instilled with the ability to heal people and predict the future.
So, if Baba’s prediction for 2130 comes true, there is a possibility the aliens have already made contact with us in the years before 2130.
But before we arrive in 2130, according to Baba Vanga’s predictions, a lot of things are going to happen in space and on earth between 2016 and 2130.
2023: The Earth’s orbit will change. 2028: Mankind will fly to Venus, in hope of finding new sources of energy. 2033: World water levels will rise as the polar ice caps melt. 2084: Nature is reborn. 2100: Man-made sun illuminates the dark side of the planet.
Yet her predictions for 2016, 2025, 2043, 2066 and 2076 which I only can describe as the rise and fall of Gog and Magog.
They are coming our way and they will contact us, but for the coming years, they are just watching us as they want to see if we can handle our earth/space problems before they get involved.
The rare phenomenon was visible for a few minutes until it was covered with clouds.
In the world of science the phenomenon is known as a Sun Dog, an atmospheric phenomenon that consists of a pair of bright spots on either side on the Sun.
This phenomenon can occur anywhere and anytime. However, it will be more easily visible when the sun is at a lower position on the horizon (at sunrise or sunset).
However, many believe Nibiru does exist and a second sun in the sky is a sign or harbinger that Nibiru is nearing Earth.
